I still fondly remember long ago,
When with Mother I did stroll,
Through her garden planted with love.
With a beauty I have a reminiscence of.

In my mind I still see her beautiful face,
Her smile my heart will forever embrace.
Her sweet voice was like an angel’s song,
That sound in my mind is so very strong.

Christmas was always a special time,
Her holiday spirit sweet as bells that chime.
No matter how hard times could be,
She somehow managed presents for me.

She filled my childhood with her love,
She was God’s gift from heaven above.
She was my confidante when I was grown.
Giving assurance I could always go home.

Seems to me like only yesterday,
When God came to take her away.
She now comes to visit in my dreams,
With a love that never ends it seems.

Seeing Mother again is my ultimate desire,
When I do go join that Heavenly choir.
A reunion between mother and child
And her loving beauty I will beguile.

So as another year comes to it’s end,
My memories of Mother will transcend.
I now continue down my journey of life,
And I shall be thankful for her shinning light.
