They are that little bundle of fur,
That cuddles next to you at night.
So you don’t feel loneliness, knowing
Everything is going to be alright.

When everyone else has gone,
They are still there by your side.
They nudge their head against you,
With great affection they never hide.

Some people may think they’re just a cat,
But to you they are so much more.
Since they are your loving best friend,
The one you shall forever adore.

They don’t ask that much of you,
To shower you with their devotion.
These small little furry friends
Can show so much loving emotion.

So when I’m in need of a friend,
My cats are right there by my side.
I know I shall always have my friends
I give to them my love and much pride.
