Once upon a time in a kingdom by the sea there was a kind king and
his beautiful queen. They were well loved by their subjects because
they always shared their wealth with those who were in need.
The royal couple had wished for a child for many years when they
found out the queen was finally with child. They had much love for
each other and was so happy they would now share that love with this
child. However the queen had a difficult delivery and she was unable
to survive giving birth to a beautiful princess who was to be named
Adrianna. The king was saddened over losing his beloved wife but
ordered the celebrations to go on for the Princess Adrianna.
During the celebration the king and queen form a near by kingdom
presented Adrianna with a beautiful jeweled crown along with the
pledge their son, who was a year older, would grow up to marry
Adrianna and unite the two kingdoms as one. Adrianna’s father
accepted the crown and the pledge on behalf of his daughter.
After all the celebrations were over the king became distraught
and began grieving over the queen’s death. His half sister ask him if
she could take charge of the Princess Adrianna . Since he didn’t trust
this half sister, because of the evil he had always seen in her, he gave
charge of the princess to a servant girl who had for some time been
loyal to the queen.
As time passed the king’s grief grew and he wouldn’t eat or sleep so
this took a toll on his health. When the princess was almost two he
succumbed to his grief and died.
The king’s half sister then saw her opportunity to take over the
kingdom. She ordered that the Princess Adrianna, who was now the
new queen, be brought and put in her charge.
Meanwhile the servant who was tending Adrianna had a dream. An
angel told her to take the child queen to a childless farm couple in a
near by kingdom. The angel told the servant this farmer and his wife
would raise and protect the young queen from her wicked aunt. The
servant arose and took the child to the farm as she was told. She left
Adrianna there with a few of the her possessions which included the
jeweled crown that had been presented to her as a promise of
marriage to the young prince of this very kingdom.
As the years passed Adrianna’s wicked aunt named herself queen and
ruled the kingdom. She was hated by all the subjects because she
ruled as a selfish and evil queen. She had sent soldiers out looking for
the child queen but they had returned empty handed.
Meanwhile Adrianna grew up to be a beautiful young lady as the
daughter of the farm couple. They never told her she wasn’t their
child or that she was a queen because they knew her life would be in
jeopardy from her evil aunt.
Adrianna worked on the farm and did her chores. One day when she
was sweeping up she found a box hide behind a loose brick of the
fireplace. In this box was the jeweled crown that was given to her at
the birth celebration. She took it to her parents and ask where this
beautiful treasure had come from. Her parents knew it was now the
time to tell Adrianna who she really was. The farmer went to the
castle to get the now young king. The farmer told the king where
Adrianna was and showed him the jeweled crown. When the king saw
her he knew Adrianna was his queen because an angel had showed
her to him in his dreams. The young couple was overcome with love
for one another and they knew they were destined to marry and unite
the two kingdoms. The king sent his soldiers to Adrianna’s kingdom
to tell her subjects their real queen was still living. When the people of
her kingdom heard about Adrianna they stormed the castle and
removed her evil aunt. They then had a grand celebration since they all
hated the evil aunt and her cruel rule.
Adrianna and her king were married. They united the two kingdoms
into one and as her parent had done shared their wealth with all their
loyal subjects. They lived happily ever after and so did all in their
kingdom. Their love grew and so did their family with the addition of
two princesses and a prince. Adrianna got to know all about her real
parents. She also gave the wonderful parents who had raised and
cared for her their own castle.
May love and goodness always win out. May all live happily ever after.
