Jarrods February 14th

After being dumped on Valentine's Day by AROD, I proceeded to drown my sorrows in Metal at Jarrods in Attleboro with Nebula, Mastodon and Clutch.

The club was packed and I get there just in time to see Nebula and while they
were very good, the sound man sucked!!! There was feed back happening
throughout the entire Nebula set. And you could tell their music was good and
not the fault of the band at all. I was really pissed off that the sound guy
couldn't figure out the problem. How do you have National acts come into your
club and screw them like that. So I was hoping when Mastodon came on the same
thing would not happen. Oh no, the first couple of songs again the sound
sucked!!! I wanted to strangle the sound man. And of course I got punched
square in the arm by some mosher that was out of control. Oh well, that shit
happens. But alas, someone heard my cry, I believe the Clutch sound man took
over and the rest of Mastodon's set was great as I knew it could be. They have
such great stage presence and did a bunch of songs from the Remission cd,
which is fabulous Metal and comes with a bonus DVD. Quick go and pick it up.
Next up, the moment we were all waiting for the infamous, Clutch. They hit the
stage and everything just pumped up like a Heart that wasn't broken anymore.
Headbanging in sequence throughout the entire crowd, while listeneing to the
crazy Metalness that is Clutch. They did all their hits with no disapointment
at all. Again Thank God for the Clutch Sound Man, you saved the night.
\m/ Metal Horns to all!!!!
