A Friday night of Metal and Mayhem at the Palladium. What better way to start the weekend, then checking out Vile, Exhumed, Hypocrisy and Cannibal Corpse. Well I think nothing is better than that.
Got to the Palladium almost on time for a change and caught the end of Vile's set.
They were pretty good. Exhumed was up next and really put on a great set.Thank
God for the Palladium, I mean always All Ages shows and always a good time.Ok
back to Exhumed, definitely a band to keep watching and see what they do next.
After that blistering set, I was ready for more. Hypocrisy filled my need.
They're out supporting the new album, The Arrival, and let me just say, GO
GET IT!!! And what a live performance, they exploded on the Palladium stage.
Hypcorisy did a bunch of new tunes from The Arrival and some old too, but it
was all good. I also liked the fact that the guitar player would flip his
guitar so you could see the back and in big white tape spelled out METAL.
Now I was very excited about the headliner, that's right, Cannibal Corpse.
I haven't seen them in a while and was so looking forward to hearing some of
the new tunes from The Wretched Spawn cd. The set what just what I had hoped
for, a bunch of new tunes, including the title track off The Wretched Spawn
and a bunch of great old songs too. I couldn't have asked for a better set.
This tour has also kicked off their "15" Year mark for Cannibal Corpse and
George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher(vocals), let the fans know that they are the
reason CC made it to the big "15", and with the support of the fans CC will
make it "15" more. I damn hope so!!! Big props to Scott "Ogre" Lee, he always
books great shows. BIG DEATH METAL HORNS UP for this night. \m/\m/
P.S.I should have photos up later in the week.
