13th July 2004: Hey there guys. It's been 2 months since anything's been posted on here and to tell ya the truth not alots happen. Whoopty fuckin' do. BUt there is the slight bit of news which'll hopefully get us back on our sorta unstable and unstarted path to a gig of some sort. We altogether now i've written about 7 songs and another 3 to be done at some point before the middle of August or sometime like that and it's about time that we a got a couple of guy's (well at least 1) in to do some ass kicking. So know we've got Shane to play on the drums and when she gets a bass in the next month or so Mel will be helpin out with some bitchslappin' and she's the person responsible for the cool handwork of the picture for the intro of the site if u haven't already read the name which is Melzee. So hopefully it's not gonna take another 2 months to get some good news up on this mutha of a site and hopefully so it's been mentioned the odd once or twice is that if thing's go well for us we might sorta a gig out with RMD thats if things run smoothly for us which is a very unknown word for this band. Anyways with things slightly picking up it's just gonna make me very hopeful that something can actually happen this time and probably just a singer is needed now. For those of  you which i'm sure isn't very many at all if any is that i just want to thank you for being patient and we'll hopefully get something at least half decent for you. Steve 15th May 2004: Site News: History Updated 5th May 2004: Last practice sucked and daron the prick left early cos his girlfriend showed up. So we're now looking for a new drummer, bass player and possibly a singer. For the not so many of you that look at this site I recommend you go and see RMD at the Snooty Fox In Wakefield on Tuesday the 25th Of May. Heard them after our last practice as we hung around and they sounded cool. So check them out. 6th April 2004: We've finally had a practice again and we've got some photos while we was there. still need to get more done but it made a difference. 1st April 2004: Not much happening here. Apart from acouple of gay bashin homos talking bollocks in the guestbook. We're strugglin well i dunno about we but the odd one or 2 of us are getting bored with nothing happening like practicing or anything. The reason i think for this could be things like girlfriends or whatever. Don't get me wrong but i'm all for the girlfriend thing but sometimes it can get in the way and its just not so easy to get together as a band and do something creative. I felt before Gifford left when we practiced that we had something good going on even the one time Gifford wasn't at the practice tho we've only had 2 but now for about a month now with nothing happening it feels as though there is no band at all. The odd bit of writing has been done but nothing much really and i've finally slapped a picture of tom up on the site. Hopefully (eventually) if we manage to start practicing again i might be arsed to do a new site and completely change the look and feel of it. Hopefully with some great artwork more info and hopefully (still might be awhile) a demo or a gig. 2nd March 2004: Gifford has left Metal Fear to go on and keep focus with his education. Which would've been inevitable with him wanting to go on to University. Best Luck to Gifford. The band will still practice on a weekly bassis and will be looking for a new bass player shortly. 23rd February 2004: You may have noticed that the 'Thank You' Song was taken off of the site. Well the reason for this was that it needs improvements and we're going to have the bass and drums in the song. With both the practices going extremely well it's looking as though the song's that's been written could be recorded sooner than i possibly expected. The first song we tried sounded really good with everyone in time and in the first practice we played 'Thank You' which made me change my mind about just having it as a guitar song. Anyway with things look as well as it is thing's could be looking bright for this band as we're actually doing instead of saying. The only thing I hope is that nothing will happen to cause the band to return to the standstill which it once was.
