MY HOBBIES AND INTERESTS PAGE

MILTON BRADLEY GAMEMASTER SERIES GAMES:  This was a series of games made by Milton Bradley in the 1980s. These games included Shogun, Fortress America, Conquest of the Empire, Broadsides and Boarding Parties, and the infamous Axis and Allies. Through Ebay I have been able to attain all of these but Broadsides and Boarding Parties. Avalon Hill purchased the rights to Axis and Allies and have now spun these off to Wizards of the Coast. There are three new Axis and Allies games called Axis and Allies: Europe, Axis and Allies: Pacific, & D-Day.

DESIGNER BOARDGAMESA hobby that I've been in to for awhile is designer boardgames. The new wave of boardgames started in Germany a few years ago. I have a collection presently of about 100 games. These are not your monopoly and trivial pursuit games. These games are of skill, ability, & some luck. I highly encourage you to try these out. If you would like to see my games, here is the link...

WOMEN: Pictured at left - Top to bottom, Jennifer Aniston, Amy Craig, Paul Trickey, Karina Lombard, Sung Hi Lee, Sabrina Lloyd, Kari Wuhrer, and Fairuza Balk.

MONTY PYTHON: The Holy Grail is one of the greatest movies you probably haven't seen. What a classic! I've watched this movie over 500 times. This is definitely my favorite movie!

BENNY HILL. Oh man, if I only had the courage, I'd make an American version of his great show. If you've never seen his show, go and rent some video tapes from your video store.

QUANTUM LEAP: I used to watch this show back when I was in high school. Great show! No one else that I knew ever really watched this show then. I guess I just would like to jump into the Quantum Leap Accelerator myself and go back and change some things. But then again, who wouldn't?

NCAA FOOTBALL 2006: Since I've had time off the past few months, I've had plenty of time to play this game. I am now on Heisman mode. I love this game and will usually play this over anything else. This series just continues to get better.

My Current Dynasty

NCAA FOOTBALL 2005: I was totally addicted to this game before '06 came out. It was my main form of entertainment. With my Alabama dynasty, I won 5 National Championships and 6 SEC Championships. Of those 5 National Championships, the last 4 were in a row.  This was during an 8 year period on All-American mode.

NCAA FOOTBALL 2004: This was the game that started it all for me. After a friend got me into Halo and I purchased my XBOX, it dawned on me there were some football games for the console. I purchased a used copy on EBAY and the rest is history. I absolutely loved this game and was totally addicted to it. Dynasty mode is awesome! With my one main dynasty I won National Championships with Alabama from 2005 to 2010 with an undefeated record. This was on varsity mode. I've just recently restarted on the 2003 season in All-American mode.

PET PEAVES: I decided to put a list of my pet peaves on my website. These are things that just irritate the heck out of me. Not just every now and then, but every time they happen.

1) When someone in a movie/tv show is cast as a bad/evil person just because they listen to heavy metal or wear heavy metal associated clothing.

2) When people on the interstate stop for no apparent reason and then you never find out the reason why everyone was stopping.  This one time when I was traveling south on I-24, I went from 70 to a complete stop in 3 seconds barely stopping before hitting the car in front of me. There was no construction or anything!!!

3) When someone I know goes ahead and makes a mistake after I tell them otherwise. This happens at least 2-3 times a year and urks me to no end.

4) When I keep getting asked the same question over and over when I've already answered the question.

5) When someone pretends to be your friend when you know they've done something bad to you.

MY ALL TIME TOP 5 MOVIES: I decided to put a list of my top five movies on my website. These are movies I absolutely love. I thought this list might interest some people and they might check them out in case they hadn't seen them.

1) MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL. See my notes above.

2) THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO. I never knew anything about the book except for the title. For some reason I could always get this one right pretty quickly on Wheel of Fortune. However, I am so glad I caught the previews for this movie. Although I could not talk anyone into going to the theater to see this with me, I have seen it about 15 times now and have it on DVD. Favorite quote: Edmond Dantes to Villefort after Villefort tried to commit suicide in the carriage after being found out, "You didn't think I'd make it that easy, did you?" Oh man! This sends chills down my spine.

3) JUST FRIENDS. I had no idea of this movie until I saw it. I was cracking up the entire time. I first saw it on Wednesday. I then saw it on Friday and Saturday of the same week. I then saw it on Monday. I then watched it again the next Saturday. I definitely recommend you checking this one out.

4) CLERKS. Need I say more. Favorite quote: Dante - "I'm not even supposed to be here today."

5) LOVE STINKS. Oh how I love thee, let me count the ways. I love thee because ye portrays the way many women are in the world today. Sniveling, conniving, greedy, slutty, tramps. I love thee because these things, although they appear overblown, are minor compared to the many things that do go on. And finally I love thee because ye has a great and funny twist at the end. Too bad they couldn't have made a second part to this.

Honorable Mention - PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN/SLEEPY HOLLOW: Yes, I know they're both Johnny Depp films. Still very good.

Second Honorable Mention - BETTER OFF DEAD. This is a very good movie about being dumped by your girlfriend.
