Originating in the United States, Industrial metal was a product of technological advancement.  Using electronics, such as synthesizers combined with heavily distorted instruments, Industrial metal can be very difficult to appreciate for some.  Do not expect to find much in the way of blazing guitar solos here.  Repetitive guitar riffs, coupled with funky electronic sounds and sharp, static drum beats compose most of this genre.
This genre's lyrics deal with anger at society or politics.
RAMMSTEIN
Industrial metal from Germany, speaking totally in German (except one song), you think it is a strange band to begin my love for metal?  Well, RAMMSTEIN is what 'got me into' metal.  With their robot-like riffs and weird keyboard sounds and the awesome deep and operatic vocals of Till Lindemann, RAMMSTEIN hooked me.
All I can say is have a listen to these guys, you might be suprised.  Many people have come to like them after me forcing them to listen once or twice.

ALL RAMMSTEIN albums are excellent!  In order they are: Herzeleid (Heartache), Sehnsucht (Hunger) and Mutter (Mother).  Also great is the live album Live Aus Berlin.
