Welcome to a historical look at weather extremes across Canada. With the help of climatological data from Environment Canada these pages are being built which concern themselves with the all-time records observed at a host of former weather stations across the country. Stations which are still in operation do not qualify for this project, which is why the vast majority of the stations used for this are smaller towns and not large cities.
It is also very important to note that none of this data is official in that some data may be missing and contain a record that was not included in the making of these historical pages. For example, records in Marystown, Newfoundland were taken for a span of 26 months but only 9 months data was complete to be taken into consideration for compiling the record observations.
