Metro Carvers Club of Michigan
A Woodcarving Club
serving the northern suburbs and Detroit
P.O Box 1597, Royal Oak Michigan 48068
Metro Carvers Club of Michigan was founded in 1980 and represents folks from the Metro Detroit area who share a love for woodcarving and related arts.  The purpose of the club is to encourage fellowship, enable members to improve their skills, and promote woodcarving to the public.  Fellowship is encouraged with monthly club meetings and a newsletter.  Skills are improved through carving competitions, guest speakers, resource libraries, and members sharing their techniques and experience.  The Club is exposed to the public through an annual carving show in March and various other projects.
