Kaho Miyasaka seems to be fairly popular, although relatively new as a mangaka. She mostly does regular shoujo series, although some of her other works, like Kiss in the Blue, have been very non-typical shoujo style stuff. One day Rina decides to confess to the guy she likes. She's pushed on to tell him by her friends, and being very shy, they literally push her into him. When she's about to start speaking, her mom comes and starts yelling that she forgot her flute. She's totally embaressed, and seconds later, finds herself being dragged into the train. One of the guy's friends hands her her flute, and starts talking to her. She ends up fainting (hence the title, "feverish girl"), and he helps her. The guy she likes invites her to his band's show, and instead of getting more of a crush on him, she starts getting a crush on his friend! You might think this is all -- but there's a realllly cool plot twist to it. I won't tell you it, but it's definitely a good one.

This is a cute series, and although I didn't like it at first, the plot twist really makes it cool. Her artwork is very cute, and I especially like the way she draws eyes -- they're sooo pretty.
