Blueberry sauce

2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
3/4 cup + 1/4 cup water
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tbsp corn starch
1 tbsp lemon juice


1) In medium saucepan, combine berries, 3/4 cup water and salt.
2) In bowl, dissolve sugar and corn starch in remaining 1/4 cup water.  Stir into blueberries.
3) Cook over medium heat, stirring occassionally, until thickenen and berries soften.  Stir in lemon juice.

Makes 2 1/2 cups.

* Serve over pancakes or crepes.
