If I ever have kids (and I can't cross it out as a possibility at this time, even though I wish I could) I want boys.

It's nothing against girls, but I really want a boy (or plural). Depending on the father (if there's any tradion in names, etc.) I'd want to name a boy either 'Zachary' or 'Xavier'. Reasons?
Zachary - I love the name Zac. I just kind of have a fetish with this name, and I don't know why. This is NOT because of Zac Hanson, I just like the name, and always have. I only know a few Zacs at the moment, and I'd want to increase the population of them *grin*.
Xavier - I also like the name Xavier. Honestly, how many people would think of naming their kid that without changing their mind? It's unique, and should be difficult to forget.

I'd also want my kids to stand out. They could have longish hair, and dye it whatever colour they want. Trust me, I AM likely to let a three-year-old dye his hair bright blue in the right mood *grin*. By the time I have kids I could even be dying mine on a regular basis (possibly anything from green to orange and multi-coloured - I wanted to do multi-coloured recently actually).

If I had a boy (or boys) their room wouldn't be covered in Thomas The Tank Engine stuff... I'd give them a head start with stuff like lava lamps and older toys (maybe a few stuffed animals to start, but I wouldn't embarrass them too much when they're older. It'll be easy enough when their voice starts changing). I would encourage them to be extroverts, and maybe even to get in trouble at school. If they get in fights, that's their problem.
