ABSENCES
It is essential that lessons be taken as consistently as possible in order for you as a student to make progress. There are two kinds of absences:
Planned Absences: A planned absence is one that I was informed of by no later than the week before the lesson from which you will be absent. In writing. Once you are on the schedule for a week, a cancellation made during that week does not fall under planned absence.
Unplanned Absences: These include illness, family emergency, business or school meetings, once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, rehearsal. Limit: two (2) unplanned absences per semester; absences in excess of 2 will be charged your lesson fee. Please cancel no less than 24 hours before your lesson - sudden illness will be excused on a case by case basis. (If there are bodily functions involved that might necessitate an emergency clean up - and if that will require Lysol -- don't come!!)
NO-SHOWS ARE NEVER EXCUSED.
