"Is Betrayal Absolutely EVERYWHERE?"
[The next day, at the crack of dawn, Misty is pushing her car down the driveway, with Danny and Amber following]
Misty:
Come on, Dan-o, keep up! Be careful, both of you. The Enemy has many spies in her service… birds, beasts…
[to Amber]
Is it safe?
Amber:
[grips the handle of the Umbrella, which is hidden under her coat]
Misty:
Never open it up, for the agent of the 11-Year-Old-Brat will be drawn to its power. Always remember, Amber… the Umbrella is trying to get back to its master. It wants to be found.
[Misty gets in the car and drives off]
[Amber and Danny set off. Insert several shots of them traveling across countryside. After some time they come to a field with knee-high crops. Danny stops]
Danny:
This is it.
Amber:
This is what?
Danny:
If I take one more step it'll be the farthest away from home I've ever been.
Amber:
[smiles and walks back to Dan]
Come on, Danny.
[Danny takes a step. Amber puts a hand on his shoulder]
Remember what Mom used to say?
[they continue walking]
"It's a dangerous business…"
Segue into Crunk (V.O):
…Amber, going out your door. You step out onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to."
Danny:
Didn't she steal that from Bilbo Baggins?
Amber:
[shrugs]

[Cut to Amber and Danny sleeping by the campfire. Danny tosses and turns]
Danny:
Everywhere I lay down there's a great root sticking into my back.
Amber:
Just shut your eyes and imagine you're back in your own bed, with a soft mattress, and a lovely feather pillow.
Danny:
[closes eyes. Thinks. Opens them again] It's not working, Amber. I'll never be able to sleep out here.
Amber:
Me neither, Danny.
[Danny reaches out and takes her hand]

[Cut to Misty. She drives to Wisconsin to find Justin]
Justin:
Misty! I haven't talked to you in so long! I missed you! Gimme kissy. [leans forward]
Misty:
[slap]
Justin:
I asked for that one.

[Misty and Justin talk as they walk]
Justin:
You're sure now?
Misty:
Absolutely.
Justin:
So the Umbrella of Power has been found…
Misty:
All this time, it was in Crunksville, right under my nose.
Justin:
And yet you did not have the wit to see it! Your love of pipe-weed has clearly slowed your mind.
Misty:
But we still have time. Time enough to counter Raejae if we act quickly.
Justin:
Time? What time do you think we have?
[Misty stops walking and looks at him]

[Scene cuts to Justin's room, where Justin sits in a poofy chair. Misty stands in front of him]
Justin:
Raejae has regained much of her former strength. She cannot yet take physical form but her spirit has lost none of its potency. Concealed within her fortress, the 11-Year-Old-Brat sees all. Her gaze pierces cloud, shadow, earth and flesh.
[Misty looks up]
You know of what I speak, Misty. A Great Eye. Quite alarming.
Misty:
[whispers] The Eye of Raejae.
Justin:
She is gathering all evil to her. Very soon she will summon an army great enough to launch an assault upon Crunksville.
Misty:
How do you know?
Justin:
I have seen it.

[Misty and Justin walk into the room. The TV is on]
Misty:
…MTV?
Justin:
[points] The hour is later than you think. Raejae's forces are already moving. The 'punks' have been unleashed. J-Lo told me so.
Misty:
…
Justin:
Your beloved BigBrows told me they crossed the River not long ago.
Misty:
They've reached Crunksville?
Justin:
They will find the Umbrella and kill the one who carries it.
Misty:
Amber!
[makes for one of the four exits, but as she approaches it, Justin looks at it, and it slams shut. Misty makes for the other three exits but each are closed as she heads for them]
Justin:
You do not seriously think that Amber could contend with the will of Raejae? There are none who can. Against the power of Raejaeville there can be no victory. We must join with her, Misty. We must join with Raejae. It would be wise, my friend.
Misty:
Tell me. Friend. When did Justin abandon reason for madness?
[Furious, Justin shouts out and kicks Misty against a wall. Misty slugs him. The duel begins and for some time they fight each other. It seems that Misty is winning as she sends Justin flying through a door, but Justin quickly recovers and seeing weariness in Misty's face knocks her onto the ground. He quickly straps her into a harness attached to the high ceiling. He presses a button which starts the harness spinning]
Misty:
What the f…?
Justin:
I gave you the chance of aiding me willingly, but you have elected a way of PAIN and CHEAP STUNT SCENES!
[presses a button. The harness sends Misty flying upwards]
