Guard 2: Standard release?
Guard 1: Parole 3 out of 5, good behaviour.
Guard 2: Gimme a minute.
(He gets Hyde's belongings)

[Outside view of Erik pulling up
to the jail entrance]
Guard 2:
One black suit jacket. One pair of black suit pants. One hat, black. One pair
of sunglasses. Twenty three dollars and seven cents. Sign here.
(Hyde leans over and signs with
'X')
(Hyde walks out of prison, Erik
is waiting for him. They look at each other and hug)
In
the Redsmobile
Hyde:
What's this?
Erik:What?
Hyde: This car, this stupid car. Where's the Pelmobile?
(He tries to light his cigarette,
the car's lighter is broken, he throws it out the window)
Hyde: The
Pel? Where's the Pel?
Erik: The what?
Hyde: The car we used to have. The Pelmobile!
Erik: I traded it.
Hyde: You traded the Pelmobile for this?
Erik: No, for a microphone.
Hyde: A microphone? Okay, I can see that. What the hell is this?
Erik: This was a bargain. I picked it up at the Crunksville City Police
auction last spring. It's an old Crunksville Police Car. They were practically
givin' them away.
Hyde: Well thank you pal, the day I get outta prison, my own brother
picks me up in a police car.
[Fog horn and warning bell
sounds]
Erik: You
don't like it?
Hyde: No, I don't like it.
(Erik drives over a raising draw
bridge)
Hyde: This
car's got a lot of pick up.
Erik: It's got a cop motor of four hundred and forty cubic inch plant,
it's got cop tyres, cop suspension, cop shocks, it was a model made before
catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do ya say, is it
the new Redsmobile or what?
Hyde: Fix the cigarette lighter.
