The Bands of Malfunxion
No Sunlite For The Media
Malfunxion's leading band since the start of MFX, NSFTM has led the way for countless of imitators, all quite welcomed to do so. They are constantly questioning musical boundaries, and constantly pushing them down. Be sure that in the near future, NSFTM will be a force, live and in studio, to reckon with.

No Sunlite For The Mama Mía
Ahem. This band never actually existed. It definitely didn't include any of the members of NSFTM, and the album was found on accident on a raccoon infested highway. OK??? But somehow, through the miracle of modern medicine and some spiffy bread, you can still order their album.

PositivWater
The most elusive and intriguing Malfunxion band, PositivWater is simply Mathted making some of the greatest tunes/noize known to mankind. Not only that, their first album Return To Boise recieved many accolades from both fans and reviewers. As Reason Fanzine put it, "Quite simply the most amazing release of 2002. Buy it while you can kids. It's a classic for the ages!"

!~$X$~!
Combining the utter noise of MFX 002A and finally his true song voice, Ted powers out his solo project, whose un-utterable name is just as confusing as his lyrics and song titles. Don't try to understand. Just listen and be confused.

Freedom In Anarchy
More commonly known as FIA by their classmates and rekkerders, Freedom In Anarchy is simply Beat Happening with a silly political name. Oh yeah, and the members are all still in elementry school. Rokc at it's most innocent and childish? You better believe it.

1980's Ink
Not too much is known about 1980's Ink at the moment, the second newest member of MFX to date, except that sniffing koala bears on sleepless nights are one of many hobbies that the trio share.

Bears of Russia
One of the most talented artists on MFX, Bears of Russia reeks of noise talent and will definitely be one of the bands leading the Malfunxion way. With creativity and insanity flowing throughout every song, Bears of Russia are destined to rule the world with a couple whales and several squids as advisors.

Schizophrenic Barbershop Quarter and Mike
The least known of all Malfunxion bands, the SBQM actually have a very explicit real name, and upon making a deal with MFX, were forced to change their name to the above. The band, after recording one song for MFX010!, immediately left the label, derminating the deal. The first band to quit the label, they claimed that MFX was not giving them enough royalties on the letter Q, and so left the label for good. So long SBQM, you are but a faint memory etched onto a CD...

Math
Math's solo acoustic shoegazer noise projects are entitled simply, Math. Combining collages of found, manufactured, and ambient sounds layered with 100s of layers of guitar and acoustic riffing w/ fanciful song lyrics which appear and fade, Math represents some of the best work by the man, Math. The word intensity has never had a better brick. And the word catchy has always had a better personification.

Dastardly Nougat
Not too much can be said about Dastardly Nougat, as their histroy and future is clouded with mushrooms. But...isn't their name so cute??!! An album entitled Chuckbrown should be on the way soon however.

Jim McCartney
Be aware folks. An atomic bomb is dropping. It's called "Jeffy". On a similar note, Jim McCartney, one of the first MFX bands, is working on an EP entitled Go! and a split EP with NSFTM called, The Yellow EP. Expect great things out of this artist!
