Jonathan
Nearly every good thing I have in my life I owe to my best friend, Jonathan Keller.
Every now and then a person comes into our lives that we'll never ever forget. If it hadn't been for Jonathan, there is now way on earth I would be the person I am today, and more so, possibly wouldn't even be here at all.
I met Jonathan my senior year of high school. We were both on the baseball team and just had a lot of the same interests. We hung out a lot and soon became best friends. We both went to the same college and were roommates there. He was the one who made me call a stranger on a lonely Friday night, and if he hadn't, I wouldn't have the beautiful family that I have today.
Jonathan was the best man at my wedding and I was at his.... He was as close as I've gotten in a long time to having a brother. My kids called him "Uncle Jon" and his kids call me "Uncle Marc." Just the little things that make friendship what it is.

I'm doing this page as a tribute to my friend because he's no longer with us. Five years ago Jonathan was called home by the big man. He was coming home from work late one evening and was struck head on by a drunk teenager. Jonathan was killed instantly, and the driver of the other car was paralyzed from the waist down. Jon left behind a beautiful wife, Kathy, and four amazing children- Chelsea, Aubrey, Michael, and Frankie.
Since Jonathan's passing I've become very much against drinking and the like. I'd just like to encourage everyone out there to remember those people lost like Jonathan, and when you do you realize, It's really not worth it.
We miss you, Jon.
