The Art Gallery
I firmly believe that the arts should be integrated
into ALL areas of the curriculum!! Can't seem to find the time? How
can you NOT find the time is what I say! Research supports a strong
positive relationship
between the arts and academic success.
Besides, it sure makes teaching(& learning) a whole lot more fun. I
have pictures below of some of the artwork done at summer art camp by my
daughter (and a few others). Once the new school year begins, I will be
adding pictures of the artwork from my own classroom. I will also
be doing a two-week discipline based arts education unit on Raggedy Ann
and Andy.
If you aren't familiar with DBAE, check out this

If you do not integrate the arts into your curriculum,
you should. Check out the links below to help educate yourself about
the arts, and help to provide arts-based education for all children!
