Cinderella
A school-wide discipline based
arts education unit
currently underway at Rockwell
Elementary School
Check out this wonderful unit
"Where
in The World is my Slipper?"
Wow!
Mrs. Piontkowski's 4th grade class
at Rockwell
Elementary did a SUPER job
on these
beautiful ball gowns and
tuxedos.
The students were inspired
by the
work of Walter Anderson.
Mrs. Piontkowski and Mrs. Mattern
decorated their doors to resemble a castle, complete with draw-bridge and
glass slippers.
WOW! artwork from the second grade
Mrs. Duggins and her second
graders did these SUPER
paintings. Their work
was inspired by the artwork of
Walter Anderson. Mrs.
Duggins gave each student a small picture
by Anderson to use as a guide.
The students then drew their picture freehand
and painted them with tempra
paint. Glitter was used to embelish
each picture. What a wonderful
job
these second graders did!
