Welcome to our "Home Page"
This year has brought alot of changes in our household.  In Feb. 07 my mother, who lived in Colorado, passed away.  In May 07, Dale and I were married.  We stayed at my old farmhouse until Soni graduated homeschool in the spring of 08 and then I moved to his dairy farm.  This arrangement is alot easier since Dale was driving 30 miles to work every day on his own farm.  My daughter, Lena, is also here at Dale's for the summer.  She is working on his dairy to help pay her room and board at College of the Ozarks.
Soni is still at the old house with my sister, who came out to stay while she looks for work here.
The house at "Clover Hill Dairy" was built, or should I say "is being built" by Dale and his sons.  The inside is still in the process of being finished.  They have been working on it for the past 5 years, off and on.
This picture, taken from the front porch shows Dale mowing the lawn--the farmer way!
Another view of the same barn. Click here if you would like to see inside and learn a little about the  milking process.
They also built a new dairy barn.  "Business before pleasure" of course, so the dairy barn was finished this past January and they are milking about 200 cows in it twice a day.  Hired hands actually do most of the milking while Dale and his sons take care of the field work
Lena helps with the milking to help pay her way through college.  Believe it or not, she says she likes milking so much that she isn't sure she wants to finish her art degree!!
This is the view of Dale's old house taken from the new house.  His son, Jason, and his new family live there now.  It is nice to have a grandchild here on the farm.
