Re: Reported Human Rights Violation(s) in the British Virgin Islands
 
Thank you very much for your kind and extremely informative letter of earlier 
today.
 
It is apparent from your reply that either the facts of this matter have 
been grossly misreported or the reported firing of a Mr. Purnell Christian 
(possibly a pseudonym) took place (likely informally) in such a fashion 
that legally prescribed avenues were circumvented and the appropriate officers 
of the government - including Your Excellency - were not drawn into the 
process.
 
I will take immediate steps to have what are now serious questions resolved 
and will promptly inform you, Governor, of the result of my efforts.
