Our monthly printed newsletters and this web site are guides to news of medical findings and studies, upcoming events and to restaurants and other public establishments that are accommodating. My Handi-Capable Reporter contains informative articles to help with everyday life. Written by experts in their field, these articles provide information such as who to see for independent living equipment, shoes, cooling devices, foods, food supplements, hand-controllable driving devices, van-conversions, wheelchair lifts, adaptive living aids and etceteras.
As space and times allows, there is a Friendship Search – Companion Find section. This can be a way to meet someone who becomes specialSomeone that becomes a friend, confidant, companion, lover, spouse or partner who is a lovely part of life.
My Handi-Capable Reporter is a non-profit corporation dedicated to providing services to "handi-capable" people through a number of mechanisms, including the My Handi-Capable Reporter Newsletter and this Reporter web site.
The MHCR Newsletter is printed monthly and distributed at no charge to medical facilities (hospitals, extended care facilities, doctor’s offices, physical therapy offices, nursing homes and rehabilitation centers) throughout Southern California. The printing and distribution is supported by tax-deductible contributions from individuals and concerned businesses and through paid advertising. Please frequent our advertiser’s establishments. The low subscription rates are set to cover only our printing and mailing costs.
