The MHO, Dr. de Vera, conferring with Mr. R. Padilla, FDRO III of the Bureau of Food and Drug, on matters regarding the actions needed to prevent the proliferation and sale of counterfeit drugs. The Health Office is requesting BFAD’s technical assistance in its recommendation to the Sangguniang Bayan of Calasiao for the passage of an ordinance to counter the sale and distribution of counterfeit and fake drugs in the community.    April 13, 2005

A joint task force of the local health office and the PNP conducted inspection of several night spots in the municipality and was able to apprehend several undocumented Commercial Sex Workers. The MHO and the DSWD conducted lectures on HIV/STD and matters on proper facilitation of their working papers and medical examination.   April 15, 2005
The Palaris Interlocal Health Zone held its first monthly meeting under the leadership of its new Chief of Hospital, Dr. Jackson Soriano. Present were the new Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Edwin Murillo and the Assistant Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Alfredo Sy.   April 5, 2005
Dr. Gabriel Sembrano, an orthopedic surgeon, examines a disabled child to determine the possibility of performing corrective surgery and provide the child a chance to lead an active normal life. This is part of the objetives of the STAC-11 of Calasiao.   April 13, 2005
