| SUMMIT ON CHOLERA AND ACUTE GASTROENTEIRITIS (AGE) |
| The middle part of the year 2004 brought about a serious dilemna to the towns and a city in Central Pangasinan. More than 8,000 cases of Acute Gastroenteritis and an abnormally high incidence of confirmed Cholera cases resulted in the holding of a summit where no less than the DOH Secretary, Dr. Manuel Dayrit, together with the CHD and PHO, have to pool their resources and efforts to curtail the problem. |
