The Listening Room is an acoustic concert series that will be held at the end of the first three marking periods. The concert series is intended to give more performance confidence to our younger players and breed new leaders for our annual Acoustic Rock Show. Each of these concerts will be held like an open mic night where students will have a 15 minute or 3 song slot to play original as well as cover songs. The concert will be held in the Band Room and will be set up to be a very laid back environment.

In addition to our talented students, a professional musician is also invited to perform. Each professional will have an informal Q&A session in their set to give our students and audience more perspective on live music.

All students are invited to play in this series and the audience will be on an invitation only basis. This is a small series and we want to keep it that way. There will be a $5 admission to pay our professional. Students who are interested in playing must see Mr. I ahead of time to reserve a spot.
