| Synopsis This play takes place in one tiny living room in an HDB estate when Mrs Joy de Souza mourns the death of her beloved TV. This make-belief world of advertisements and movie characters that Joy has immersed herself in, suddenly takes on a dramatic twist. The constant pounding of belachan by her equally eccentric neighbour upstairs intrudes in her private world leading to a confrontation. In the midst of these, her son whom she thought was dead for 12 years, suddenly appears at her doorstep. Caught in the middle is the suave but delusional PC Toh, who believes himself to be perpetually before the camera, filming for 'Crime Watch'. |
