  A gray and black feline passes, her features expressionless. Very noticeable is the jagged scar beneath her left eye that stops at a curl around her cheek. A white leather bag is bound to her waist with a thick strap, holding her wordly possessions. A red dress fits loosely over her body, while a white cape floats behind her. A gold chain wraps around her waist, it's length hanging to her boots, where the shine of of a dagger gleams.
Background:
Mia came from a small village of Kreulle, where she, her parents, and a younger brother lived. There she and her brother were taught the skills of healing, as well as how to defend themselves. Around the age of 14, the four went on a journey into the forest of Kanal. Only Mia returned. Wolves had surrounded them and attacked. Armed only with a bow and arrow, she fought off the members of the pack one by one, as her family died around her.
Escaping what was left of the pack, she managed to get back to Kreulle to the village chapel. The monks there took her in and kept her with them until she reached the age of 18. At that time, she was to partake in the "gifting", where one is cast out into the world to discover what it held.
She wondered many sunsets until she came upon the land of Kasuria. There she met a young female vampyre whom was desperate to defend her family from the wars raging around. She hired Mia to look after them, thus Mia earned her status as a "Protector". When the end of the wars came, Mia took her leave of the family and continued on with her journey. She roamed around the lands of Meovanni and Kasuria, eventually returning to the vampyre's family. She was once again hired on as a part-time Protector and was allowed to roam free whenever she wished.
Thus is today, and Mia remains steadfastlly loyal to the vampyre and her family. She has never settled down with a mate, for she hasn't found one yet that she would like to share a part of her life with. At one point, she did fall in love with a canine by the name of ShadowwLurker. He was a personal bodyguard of Mia's boss and very handsome. Expecting to be married, Mia and Shadow's souls were merged together into one and kept in a soul stone. Before their wedding day, Shadoww was attacked and almost killed. Realizing that they could never have a true family without the worry of being killed, they broke it off.
Upon discovering that ShadowwLurker was on the hunt to kill NightGlory, she and NightGlory's mate found and killed him. Afterwards, on a journey around Goldwyn, she met a young raccoon, who questioned her and got her to thinking about her assassin ways. She got to thinking, and resigned from her Protector job, and wandered around Goldwyn. She met up with the raccoon quite often and they talked until the wandering bug got the best of both of them. He later offered her a job at his establishment, the Ram and Noodle Inn. She took the job and was a waitress until he promoted her as Co-Manager.
A slave came in one day, by the name of Seoul, and hearing his tails of beatings and such, she formed a plan to buy him from his owner and set him free. Much against the raccoon's wishes, she made a dealing with the slaver, bought Seoul, and gave him a job as a bouncer at the Inn.
She also met one by the name of Jub Jub Flame, and they both took an instant dislike to each other. Violent words came to blows one day, and both being warriors, they fought against each other viciously, each getting harmed terribly. Mia suffered broken ribs, a burnt back, a more vicious scar on her cheek than was there, and the paw digits on her left paw were cut off. Unable to walk away, Seoul carried her to Edward Quartzeyes (the raccoon), where she was given potions to help ease the pain and hopefully heal her more quickly. Upon Edward looking into her aura, he discovered a duel personality in her... her former assassin self trying to take over her body and kill the furre she had become. A ritual was set up to kill off her darker personality, but in the end it succeeded in killing off her dark side, and 3 of her best friends.
She wandered around for a while, and found out that Seoul had once again been taken as a slave and had lost most of his memories. In a last ditch effort, she bargained with the slave to take her and let Seoul go. Knowing that the slaver would double-cross her, she set up a back up plan, with her old enemy Jub to kill off the slaver, ending her and Seoul's life as well. The slaver took her as a slave and kept Seoul as well. Before the slave could remove her telepathic waves, she cried a plea of help out to Jub, who came to them, and ended up buying both her and Seoul from the slaver. Now she wanders around in collars that cannot be removed and an extremely bad attitude.
