Battle of Lexington MO. - September 2000 Pictured below is Corporal David Levins (Dublin Ireland) and Private Berti MacCurtin (Cork Ireland), both of the 69th New York Re-enactors of the Republic Of Ireland. These two Bonna Fide Irishmen traveled all the way to the Lexington Re-enactment as Special Guest of the Missouri Irish Brigade. They are very dear and true pards of the MIB and have since joined us, as Assoc. Members. The other men in the picture (left to right) are Sgt S.G. Lucky, Capt. James Crofutt, and Brevate 1st Lieut. Curtis "Paddy" O'Gammill. |

137th Anniv. Reenactment of the Battle of Pilot Knob, MO. Sept. 2001 Our good Pard, Dave Levins once again, returned from the Republic of Ireland, to participate in the Battle of Pilot Knob Re-enactment. Over the past year, sense Lexington, Dave has become a very special friend of not only the Consolidated Company, but also the 2nd Battalion. Ltc. Prater asked Capt. Crofutt to detach Cpl. Levins to Btln H.Q. for the weekend, and the Consolidated Company was proud to have one of its own chosen to serve Btln. Headquarters. Dave was brevetted a 2nd Lieut. for the weekend, and served as a Battalion Aid. Here in this picture, we see the 2nd Battalion marching to the battle, and 2nd Lieut. Dave Levins takes the oppurtunity to march along side his pards of the Consolidated Company (a.k.a. Missouri Irish Brigade) |
