Game Info
-Being my first real racing game for the GameCube, I don't really have anything to compare this game to, except perhaps EA's other racing game for the N64, Beetle Adventure Racing. This game is a whole lot of fun, and very original to the racing genre.

Gameplay:
A+
Seeing a cop in your rear view mirror is all too exciting.  You have to lose the cops and come in 1st place!  When the cops get mad, they'll call up some friends, set up roadblocks, or worse yet, call the helicopters.  The helicopters set explosives on the road that can damage you and the police car.  It's always fun to push an officer into an explosive.  The physics are very real, and not very arcadey.  You can also play as the policeman and bust some speeders and write up tickets which is all very fun.  The 1-player is the greatest.  With a branching system that expands into increasingly harder missions, and tounaments, knockouts, and races galore, it's the best racer yet.  The game also has 48 (about) tracks that are varried.

Graphics: A

The cars look great.  The enviroment looks great.  Everything is great!  The cars you wish you had are very detailed and have great shadow effects and reflection effects.  Even the driver isn't too bad, and you can actually see him steering.

Sound: A

During the game, you'll be treated to great soundtracks from numerous bands.  You also can hear the police radio and what they are planning on doing.  The voices are great, but not stupendous.

Challenge: A+

Like I mentioned before, you have to escape the police and come in 1st place at the same time.  Though it's not as frustrating as
Diddy Kong Racing's Red Coin Challenge (collect all 8 coins and come in 1st place), it's still pretty tough.

Replay: A-

This game has a nice little 2-player, along with over 70 different tasks to be completed.  Even without all that, just racing the police is great replay.
