Company Information

I decided to do a Major Revamp of this page. I started on Oct. 26th 2005.

I decided to do this to make the Navigation of the site better. In the Table below you will see mostly images instead of names. A description of what each image stands for can be found on the bottom of the table. Eventually I am hoping to link all Links to Images, Bios, Contacts for each Company and Other Groups on this page.

  • I am adding many Things which I was sent including Date of Enlistment, Date of Discharge, Promotions and much More. Please visit the ones above with the New Sign to see the updates. The ones with have more information added to them in the last month.

  • These Numbers include those which I was not able to confirm their names on Documents but some information indicated they belonged to the 2nd Michigan Vol. Inf.

    Note 1 I have found 23 members in the band so far. 9 of them transfered from other Companies.
    Note 2 I have found 11 members doing Medical duty so far. 7 of them transfered from other Companies.
    Note 3 I have found 27 members that are marked as 2nd Mich. Inf. in Documents or Cemeteries etc. I have entered these in Individual Companies. If you have more info on them contact me.
    Note 4 These names apear on the roster but their Company is Unknown. They are usually mentioned as transfering from the 2nd Mich. to other units.
    Note 5 This is a list of all 10 soldiers which were promoted to RSM's. Their names apear in their original Company.
