Cliffs of Moher

Ireland's South Western Coast

About an hour south of Galway are the Cliffs of Moher.  We spent about an hour walking along the coast, enjoying the scenery.  I could have spent a week!

The shot below was taken south of Galway on the road to Moher.  The mountainous region in the background is known as "The Burren." We visited the small castle on the left.   A spiral stone staircase led up to its observation deck that was used as a lookout to defend the surrounding area long ago.
