I have read about this little boys plight on the Internet.  My prayers are with him everyday.  Having a nine-year-old daughter, I cannot even think of what it would be like without her.  God, take this little boy into your hands and protect him so he can grow to appreciate the power of prayer.

I know the power of prayer as my mother also had brain tumors, 19 all up, over a period of about 3 years. She had 11 and they disappeared because of radiation therapy (or so the doctors will say) then three came back and they disappeared with more therapy but then 5 came back again. This time she couldn't have any more radiation as she has had her maximum so the doctors were telling us she had 6 months to live. Those five tumors disappeared within three months with no medical assistance at all, and doctors can't explain this. A year later she is still all clear and doing well. Doctors may say it is due to this or that, but in my heart i know, all three times, it was having her family and friends pray and think positive for her that was the main contributing factor to those tumors disappearing. Never have doubt in your mind, and never give up hope. May God bless little Michael and his family as he did my mother and mine.

I received an e-mail several months ago requesting prayers for Michael. I placed his name in our adoration chapel and many prayers were offered for him. The chapel is opened 24 hours a day and someone is always present praying before the Blessed Sacrament. I never knew how I could let the family know that so many prayers were being offered for him. I am so happy I found this website. I will continue to pray for him and place an update in the chapel so that others will keep him in their prayers.

I am a mother of 2 children a 4 year old son and 7 year old daughter. I am a Christian as well. Tonight my family will pray for Michael. I believe in miracles and the power of prayer. My daughter was in an auto accident March 15, 2001 and only through a miracle came out with only a broken jaw and stitches. She and her father (who was in the accident with her) claim that an elderly gentleman stayed with my daughter while her father ran to a home to call 911. They both saw him exit the vehicle that struck them (that vehicle ran a stop sign). But when paramedics and the police surrendered their reports, there was no elderly gentleman and the woman driving the vehicle in question said no one was with her that day. My daughter believes it was an angel. I do too. I believe they walk among us and I pray that one is continually by Michael's side. Michael, may you have a wonderful year at school starting  Kindergarten and know that this family in Louisville, Kentucky is thinking about you and praying for perfect recovery. God loves all his children and I believe we all have a special purpose, yours will be revealed too! Love to you, strength to you and your family, and peace for the present and future for everything you may endure. Keep your faith, it is the only thing we can hold too and must cling too in times of need. "Lean not on your own understanding but acknowledge him..." we may never understand illness and death, tragedy, and suffering, hopelessness, and darkness. But God does and if you give all those bad feelings to him each time you feel them, let him own it, not you. Its not your responsibility! You will feel the burden lifted. Don't despair!
