Sky looked threatening on our first day in France

The skies looked full of rain. At the lunch stop, there was a heavy outburst which had us all huddling under the awning erected by our support team. I was dreading having to pitch tent in the wet. However, that was the last rain we had all trip.

The first camp site was in a wood on the outskirts of a small village, Chapelle Montligeon.

Lunch stop on the first day in France. The support team did a great job feeding us throughouot the journey.
