"Fright Night" is the story of Charley, an average teenager (Ragsdale) living in an average town. The only thing out of the ordinary about Charley is that he's convinced his suave, sinister next-door neighbor (Sarandon) is a vampire. Needless to say, nobody believes him...and that's where the trouble begins. Charley and his girlfriend, played by Amanda Bearse, turn for help to a former horror-film star who currently hosts television's "Fright Night Theatre" (McDowall).
Columbia Pictures presents a Vistar Films Production of a Holland Film, "Fright Night," a contemporary vampire tale starring Chris Sarandon, Roddy McDowall and William Ragsdale. Produced by Herb Jaffe and written and directed by Tom Holland, "Fright Night" also stars Amanda Bearse, Stephen Geoffreys, Dorothy Fielding, Art J. Evans and Jonathan Stark.
