October 23rd
Well, today we were SUPPOSED to go pumpkin hunting at a local farm. I was SO looking forward to Emmy's first trip, taking pictures of her sitting in the pumpkin patch. But NOOOOO.....it RAINED!
Instead, we picked up Cameron's friend Jessica as planned, and took them instead to a local "fun center" with ball pits and bumpercars and video games and such. They all had a great time there and redeemed the tickets they won for gobs of candy.
After that, we went to Steak N Shake for lunch. Emmy spent her time there eating frenchfries, proudly declaring each one "MINE!".
We still needed pumpkins of course, so we instead went to a nursery and picked a few out from the greenhouse. Emmy got a few little gourds and thought they were hillarious. Janie was the first to select a pumpkin, finding a very cute round perfect one. They also have a pet department there and Em just fell in love with the rabbits. We *might* go back next weekend and get one, but we're not sure yet.
As we were dropping Jessica back home, poor Emily fell into a puddle. It was covered with leaves and she didnt see it till she was belly button deep in it ! So we had to make a quick run to walmart for new clothes. Bob got her these adorable pink cammo sweats, too cute!
