It was a dark and stormy night.
Good.
AJ closed the blinds with a quick snap, satisfied. He liked dark and stormy nights, the bitter cold and rain. It kept most of their fans at bay, ensuring more privacy. Only a few die-hards would be foolish enough to attempt to locate them in this foul weather and AJ knew that their bodyguards would be able to expertly keep them away if they managed to get so lucky.
Turning towards Howie, a slow, secret smile began to twist at the corner of AJ's mouth, spreading to his dark brown eyes when he noticed Howie sitting quietly on the hotel's obscenely massive bed.
"Ready?" AJ asked softly.
Howie shifted nervously on the edge of the mattress, eyeing the various paraphernalia strewn on the bed and table. God, AJ sure had enough shit to keep even the most deviant happy for the next 20 years! "I guess," he said, hearing the reluctance in his voice but knowing deep down in his heart that this was what he wanted, no, what he needed. For a quick second he thought about what Brian would say, would do if he ever found out, but that errant thought quickly vanished as AJ sauntered over, standing over Howie with an easy, magnetic charm.
Howie looked up at AJ then looked down as AJ gracefully knelt before him. Reaching in, AJ gently separated Howie's thighs apart, scooting in so he could get closer to him.
"You sure?" he asked solemnly but Howie saw the amusement, the slight twinkle in AJ's eyes. Howie met AJ's sweet look with one of his own and nodded, taking in a slightly shaky breath as he gazed at the sight before him.
Howie had been amazed at the transformation in his friend tonight. Gone was the jewelry, the glasses, all the shit that made AJ, well, AJ. Howie reached over tentatively, lightly running his hands through AJ's now unbraided hair. He was surprised at how long it was, how deliciously silky it was to the touch. AJ watched him quietly and nodded knowingly.
Unable to say a word, Howie sat there, mesmerized, watching as AJ took his hand, pulling him, closer, closer. Eyes never leaving Howie's face, AJ leaned over slightly to wrap his fingers around a single object on the table, holding it up for Howie to inspect.
"I think you'll like it," he said gently, encouragingly.
Howie knew he would like it too and offered no resistance. He trusted AJ, simple as that.
"Okay," he agreed softly.
Now AJ was really near and Howie felt his own hand being tugged as close as it could get to AJ's body. With shaking fingers he felt the first stroke, the sweet gentleness of AJ's hand on his own, caressing him. Another stroke, firm, decisive, and Howie now knew that AJ had control. Closing his eyes, he savored the moment, feeling another quick stroke, hearing the soft, erratic breathing of AJ as he concentrated, as they concentrated on what was happening between them.
Howie felt AJ stop and in surprise opened his eyes to see AJ frowning, concern in his eyes.
"D, you're trembling. I...I can't do this if you're trembling."
Howie nodded, suddenly embarrassed and tried to calm his nervous hand. "I'm sorry, Aje. Really. It's just that, it's just so..." he faltered, at a loss for an explanation.
"I know, I know," soothed AJ, his eyes warm with understanding. Slowly he began again, picking up speed, Howie amazed at his dexterity and skill. It was almost over, God, almost done and Howie enjoyed the last few minutes immensely.
"There," said AJ finally, slightly breathless, a catch of satisfaction and completion in his voice. Howie took a moment to stare at himself and then looked up to see AJ watching him nervously. "D, ahh, is everything okay? I mean, did you, um, did you..."
Howie sighed. "Yeah, its okay." He smiled at AJ's relieved look. "In fact, it was perfect. Thanks, Bone."
AJ smirked, getting up off his knees. "Hey, that's what I'm here for." He looked at Howie, who seemed lost in thought. "Don't move, stay there, all right? It'll take a while before you'll be able to do anything."
Nodding, Howie relaxed and watched as AJ entered the bathroom then glanced over at the small table, drooling at the display, drooling with desire. He wondered if AJ would be willing to try something else on him. God, he sure as hell wanted it. And he wanted AJ, only AJ, to guide him, to teach him, to show him how.
Howie heard AJ washing up the in bathroom, feeling slightly ashamed at all the mess that was made just a few minutes ago. He heard the flow of the water, the snap of a towel and then AJ was back, coming over to inspect him.
"Give me your hand," he asked quietly, and Howie was only too happy to comply.
A satisfied smile spread slowly across AJ's face and Howie's heart skipped a beat, waiting for his friend's next words.
"Damn, I'm good. I told you Opi's Hot Pink Mama was the color for you!"
AJ admired Howie's manicure, pleased. Glancing up, he winked at Howie. "Come on. I can't wait for you to try Este Lauder's Sweet Passion lipstick!"
Howie giggled.
AJ giggled.
They giggled together and dove in at the sinful pile of makeup and accessories scattered everywhere on the table.
