Michigan Guppy Breeders is a group of people from a large area with the sole interest of enjoying the Fancy Guppy. Michigan Guppy Breeders is an International Fancy Guppy Association affiliated club. This club has been around Michigan since the mid 1960’s under the name Motor City Guppy Breeders. This was changed in later years to the current name to more reflect the regional diversity of our members. We have members from all over Michigan as well as California, Ohio, Ontario Canada, Maryland. Michigan Guppy Breeders has at least 4 meetings a year and these are usually at members homes. At the meetings we have a brief business meeting which is followed by a Pot luck lunch and gab session in the members fish room. We try and host one I.F.G.A. show per year which proves to be work but also fun for all members. If you enjoy Guppies then you should consider becoming a member of the Michigan Guppy Breeders as the information available from fellow members is priceless. You don’t have to want to show to be a member, just love guppies.
