What is Michigan's Prep Football Insider? Michigan's Prep Football Insider is a prospect evaluation and rating system for all of Michigan's Senior Prospect. Our panel has coached and evaluated thousands of Michigan high school players the past 5 years. This is strictly a passion of our panelists and we have no plans to make this a profession. It is our hobby. We have contacts at the collegiate level in Michigan as well as current and former high school coaching experience ourselves.

How long have you been doing this? This is MPFI's fifth year of existance. This is our first attempt at a website publication. We previously published newsletters but the costs of publication became a burden to our hobby. Our goal is to provide fans (not coaches) with info.

How do you arrive at your rankings? Excellent question. Our panel consists of 12 individuals that have seen 90% of the players we rank in games, practice or in summer camp settings. Yes, members of our panel do work High School Football Camps as coaches and scouts. Our rankings are based on Summer camp performances, collegiate coaches recommendations, number of offers, who is offering (lets face it, offers from UM, MSU and ND, significantly outweigh those of WMU, EMU and CMU), national "expert" rankings also play a part in our rankings.

How often will the rankings be updated? Our rankings will be updated once a month throughout the season. We will re-evaluate our rankings throughout the season and plan to have our final list completed before signing day.

Can we send you information? Absolutely. Any info you would like to provide is helpful. If you attend a game and would like to report on a prospect, feel free to send us the info. You will be credited with the info you provide. You can also email anything you think we could use to michiganprep@yahoo.com.

Are you biased towards one school or another? No, we are not. As you will notice during the season and through signing day, we will move players both up and down the rankings. The MPFI believes in being an unbiased source for recruiting information.
