Top defensive end prospect in the state.  Great size and quickness (4.8 in the 40) for someone his size. Teams ran plays away from his side of the field. Named honorable mention Class B All-State selection as a junior by both the Associated Press and the Detroit News.  Excellent pass rusher and stong enough to hold the point of attack against the run.  All-American Candidate.  Brother of former MSU quarterback Ryan Van Dyke.  Has a chance to be a better prospect than either of his brothers.  Grades are a concern.        Favorites include Michigan State, Michigan, Nebraska and Ohio State.
