| Books and Authors Oh geeze, where to start? I love books and have been reading for pretty much as long as I can remember. Grade school: Encyclopedia Brown The Three Investigators Famous Five/Secret Seven/lots of other series by Enid Blyton High school: Well, my love of science fiction and fantasy was already well entrenched by now, so along with those books, I remember reading: Leslie Charteris Dorothy Gilman E.W. Hornung Desmond Bagley Phyllis Anderson Wood Lois Duncan T. Ernesto Bethencourt Jeannette Eyerly Other authors: Spider Robinson Sharon Lee and Steve Miller Lois McMaster Bujold Jim Butcher Laurell K. Hamilton P.N. Elrod Tanya Huff and the list goes on and on and on and on. |
| TV SHOWS As a kid I really loved Star Trek in repeats, The Tomorrow People, Salty, (anybody out there reading this remember anything about a Canadian series for kids called Catch Candy I believe it was called? If so, I'd love some information about it, like who starred and when it ran, etc. It was about a brother and sister who thought they'd killed their father or uncle, and they ran away... the man wasn't killed, and he was searching for them), British serials such as The Doombolt Chase and Codename: Icarus, Kidnapped, Running Blind, etc. Other shows that really grabbed me were: Forever Knight, Profit, The Equalizer, Time Trax, Chicago Story, among others. Shows I enjoyed without being hooked include Adderly, e.r., The Pretender. |
