Power Cord Safety Idea.

Biting power cords is something all house bunnies (of the western world) will do ONCE!

In Australia (240Volts) through bunny’s teeth will stop them growing, and stop him growing too.

I live in a lowly rental property and cannot preform major renovations, like installing a safety-switch, moving power points or running conduct around the skirting boards to keep cords out of bunny’s way.

I have produced a cheap alternative to moving... it should work in most parts of the world, have a look below.

N.B Excuse the 70S’ looking “digs”..

It is a piece of PVC pipe cut in half length ways, to form 2 covers. Once cut is half,

(By the man at hardware store) use snips to “check-out” an area for the skirting boards, if you have them.

When the piece fits nicely to the wall, use a 20 mm or 8” nail to pin it in place.

There are probably much better ways to attach it, but this way you are only left with a very small hole when you move..

Also I am too tight to buy paint to match the walls, but that would camouflage the covers well and add aesthetics’.

Total cost Bugger-All,
