| 02/28/05: Blogging, everyone is doing it and it seems like the best way to sound off. Really I have no soap box to climb on to in the moment, but i do have some theories about sci-fi channels offerings. Seeing as how this page is all about making movies, and I'm such a huge sci-fi fan, how can I resist? Battlestar Galactica: Episodes 1-5 sucked like a hull breech on Moya during a Starburst. Then we get to Ep. 6, the witch hunt, accusing Adama of Ignoring personel problems and the chief of being a cylon spook. (He is, but only in the fact that he's been nailing one). The can of worms is unleashed in the fleet that cylons look human, which didn't happen until Galactica 1980 (remember the 2 part halloween episode? (well I do)). This leads to a startling revelation that there are imposters in the fleet. Worse, or main heros (and villans) keep seeing them in their dreams. The cylon that is interogated claims that he has seen all of this happen before. What I think is happening: 40 years (centons) ago when the war ended, the survivors of the 12 colonies where rounded up and experemented on to create cylons, by cyolns in the God's image (humans). They are so obsessed with being like god (humans) that they run test after test on them, by simulating the most stressful of situations. They take what they learn to become more human, evolving beyond humankind. (refer to the Matrix Saga and Big-O) |
| 07/15/05: Long time no talk... A quick note on the previous entry.... SEASON TWO TONIGHT!!!!! [ahem, sorry for that.] A quick note on the site, I am updating the look to suit the expanded utility (ie it's becoming a home for a few projects nearing fruition). You may ask where Diablo's Eye went off too? It went where "Blue Harvest" went, it was a lie implanted in the site to blind you from the truth... I'm making a shclock film. Now you're thinking... "Atomic Zombie Space Creeps"... They've done it, they've driven Aaron insane. My reply to you is yes. Yes they have, but that is beside the point! I'm making my own "Plan 9" baby! The script was locked at the start of the week and we're casting. Prepare for more info as it become available. |
