If you enjoy working with MIDI files and you do not have a good tone generator on your PC (Basically your MIDI playback sounds like a kids keyboard) then may I suggest that you visit Yamaha's web site to download their MIDI plug in for a three month evaluation period.  After that you can either buy it for about $200 or use your previous MIDI player. Crescendo is also another good plug in to have after the Yamaha one runs out.
