| Chapter 3: The Judgment Day Gayah and Kitaria were well rested, and Goku got a bag of Senzu Beans from Korin just in case another problem came up. “Well Dad, so much for acting like nothing was wrong. But I still wonder what happened to Kitaria,” Gohan said to his father. “We’ll find out soon, once she wakes up,” Goku told him. “Well, don’t look now, but Kitaria is about to awaken,” Gohan mentioned. Kitaria moaned and her eyes opened slowly. “Wh-what happened?” she started as she tried to get up. Goku stopped her. “Take it easy, Kitaria. We were about to ask you the same thing,” he replied. Kitaria looked over at Gayah, and she saw that she was also unconscious. “What happened to Gayah??” Kitaria demanded. “After you went unconscious, she ran to help you, and something attacked her. It’s really strange,” Zasyder explained. Kitaria looked down. “Kitaria, do you remember what happened?” Gohan asked. “I really don’t remember much. I was just flying back here to get some breakfast after my morning swim, and all of a sudden, I was attacked by something from within. Maybe the same thing as Gayah. It just felt as if my energy was being pulled from every pore of my body,” Kitaria described. “This sounds really serious,” ChiChi informed. “I know. I don’t like it at all,” Goku remarked. “We better wait for Gayah to wake up. Until then, eat this Senzu Bean. It will make you feel a lot better.” He handed Kitaria the bean, and in no time, she was feeling 100% better. “Goku, why do I have the feeling that something terrible is going to happen?” Zasyder questioned. “Can you see anything in the future, Zasyder?” Bulma inquired. “No, not really. All I can see is…blackness. Total, complete blackness,” Zasyder said. “That doesn’t sound too good at all,” Gohan cringed. “Of course not, boy!” Vegeta scolded. He stood. “If something is really going to happen, we need to be on guard.” “Of course we do, Vegeta. This is going to be a serious thing, and a very evil one at that,” Goku agreed. Everyone nodded, and then looked down at Gayah, who was very slowly coming out of unconsciousness. “I’LL find out what happened to my mother,” Fey’lya growled. “Whoever did this will pay dearly!” “Fey’lya, now take it easy. We’ll find out what happened. Just keep your anger in check,” Gohan assured his younger cousin. Fey’lya looked up at Gohan and nodded. “She’s waking up!” Goten exclaimed. Everyone looked at Gayah as her body moved slowly. “Gayah? Are you okay? Can you hear me?” Zasyder asked as he grabbed her hand. “Mama?” Zimena whimpered. “Unh…” One of Gayah’s eyes opened halfway. “Wh-What’s going on? Why are you all staring at me?” “Gayah, how are you feeling?” Goku questioned tenderly. “That’s hard to tell. I can’t feel my body,” Gayah answered. “You WHAT??” Vegeta exclaimed. “Hold on, Vegeta. Here, Gayah. I have a Senzu Bean for you. It should make you feel better,” Goku remarked. He put it in her mouth and she chewed it up. Then she sat up, flexing her muscles. “You’re feeling better?” ChiChi inquired. “Yeah. Goku, I could see him!” Gayah exclaimed as she grabbed her brother’s shoulders and shook him. “Who?? Who could you see?” Goku asked. “I…I don’t know!!” Gayah cried out as she pounded her fists on the ground, sending tremors through the house. “All I know is that he is completely evil and on his way here.” “I knew I felt something!” Vegeta snapped. He powered up, and flew outside. “Wait Vegeta! I’m coming with you!” Zasyder called as he also powered up and flew behind him. “Wait Vegeta!” Bulma cried. “Dad!” Trunks, Fey’lya and Zimena all yelled at once. “I’m going to help my Dad!” Fey’lya said as she powered to Super Saiyan. But before she could go anywhere, Gayah grabbed her collar and threw her into the couch. “Young Lady, you’re not going anywhere. You’re going to stay right here. Your father and Vegeta will be fine,” Gayah scolded. “I don’t care about Vegeta, Mama, I only care about Dad,” Fey’lya reprimanded. “FEY’LYA!!” Gayah scolded. “Sorry Mama,” Fey’lya mumbled. “You better be. You should respect Vegeta for what he’s done for me. You’re too young to understand his intentions. But we’re not going to get into that AGAIN. Just let your father and Vegeta handle this. I don’t think they’re in too much danger right now,” Gayah explained. |
