| Late she rose, the light fairy queen Confused and bewildered, pulled from unusual dreams She walked with her courtiers and told them her tale Of unfamiliar seas her dreams had let her sail As though there was another world a sigh's width away A peculiar neighbor to the fair land of fae Strange were the creatures that lived in this place The kept to one solid form, and were quite fair of face They lived in structures built of stone and wood Not in harmony with Nature as all creatures should Sge frowned at the thought, how odd it all seemed Amused by the things she had seen in her dreams As a dream she left it, it meant nothing more Such a world could not exist, she was quite sure. So the queen and her fairies began to dance and sing And rejoiced in thier world around a fairy ring And as she danced the dream slipped away Beyond the reach of memory in mist to stay |
