Love's Cure
By: Anonymous

Sometimes troubled winds gush from heaven's gates
Fierce with whipping rods of torrential rain.
It swirls 'round and 'round a funnel of fate,
Releasing water deep and dark with pain.

Rivers swell and overflow weakened lands
And murky waters venture the unknown.
But the sun, medicine which none withstands
Clears steadfast clouds far away as if blown

And sends forth rays to heal the land once dead.
Rebounding with hope and nature's rebirth,
Green carresses the Earth with flower beds
Scented with perfume of love and sweet worth.

Hurricanes of life will darken the skies
But love's cure will always help pass them by.
