Fatal Fate
By: Anonymous

I wake up in a cloudy, strange, new place.
To my surprise you are no longer near.
I long to see your deep and loving face.
My eyes dance in attempt to find my dear.

I remember it was yesterday when,
our hands caressed mine in the flow'ry field.
In your arms life's as carefree as back then.
What else but perfect calm could this love yield?

Too soon our flawless love came to an end.
Only the dark death could seperate us.
The car spun out and quickly hit the bend.
My death reassured him it was not lust.

I'll watch o'er him, make sure that he's secure.
For dear fate had forgotten to be fair.
