Well this very well maybe one of the last posts on this website since Yahoo is getting rid of Geocities. So lets make the best of it shall we??
Let me update everyone on what is going on. NOTHING!!! HAHAHAA kidding. Really the show season is winding down, and I know that Scott and I have made plans to do some things different with the show for next year. I think everyone will be pleased with the changes that we do.
Also there have been talks between Scott and myself to expand the club so more members can join. Why you ask? Its because the event is growing so much, that it is harder every year for just the two of us and whomever else helps getting things done for it, and to make the show run smoothly. So if your an avid reader of this page, I might be contacting you to see if you would like to join. Scott and I both have talked to a few people already, but we haven't made any final decisions as of yet.
Thats pretty much it so far, besides possibly we may be adding a few more events next year. Like a cruise in, and a "rat rod" show. Those are just in the planning stages right now so I really cant say either way if we are gonna do them or not yet.
Ok I'm off for now, hopefully we can find a new home for the site soon so everyone can keep up to date on what all is going on with us.
Yes I know it has been quite while since I have posted anything on here, and allot has happened since then.
Well the 1st Annual Bicycle Show we has didn't go over so well. I do want to thank the ones who did participate in the event, and that we are sorry that it wasn't bigger like we planned on it to be.
Scott and I went up to Joliet in July for the NMRA vs NMCA event. We both did really well there this year. Scott brought home 5 awards, and I brought home 4 of them, and Jimmy brought home a few with his Buick. So not to bad of a weekend!!
Now for the car show... We had a size able turnout for the event, meaning it was big, but not like we wanted it to be. We wanted it to break last years entries. Well we are glad its over with for this year (for now)..
Now since the show season is slowly winding down, there are only a few shows left that we plan on going to. Then its tear down time for my car!!! New motor next year?? possibly...
Ok I'm off.. Talk to everyone soon!!
Wow 2 posts in the same month... Amazing I know (hahaha) Well I just wanted to let everyone know that things are really rolling hard for our events this summer. Also that Scott and myself have been out showing hard and kicking some ass!!
Last weekend I went down to Champaign to Carri's "Cruising For Campers" show for MDA. She had an awesome turnout for the show! to say the least. The only drawback I seen was the heat... But you cant fight the weather (sorry Carri had to say it hahaha) Otherwise it is an awesome show, and I highly recemend going next year to support the event. Its for a great cause!
Yesterday Scott went to Pana, Il for their Annual Bicycle show, and brought home 2 first places, and a 2nd place with the 3 bikes he took down there for that. I stayed here in Pontiac and went to the "Hang Loose" event in Riverside park. I placed 2nd in my class, and also got "Best Modified Pontiac" in the whole show. I also took the Monte Carlo, but didn't get anything with that. The class the Monte was in was way to large to win, and their were some nice vehicles in that class to say the least.
Well I'm off to mow grass, stay tuned in cuz I may make (3) or (4) more posts by July HAHAHAHAHAHA
