We left early in the morning.  The highway a little bit traffic, but the weather was so great!!  Almost about 5 hours drive, we entered Bar Harbor, the largest village on Mount Desert Island - Maine.  We were driving along Northeast Harbor, looking for a cottage to stay because we didn't make reservations yet.  Finally, we've found a nice looking house located on a wooded hillside, a few minutes walk from the village of Northeast Harbor, called Harbourside Cottage.  Built in 1888, very nicely old-fashioned building, owned by sweet old couples.  The area in a back of the cottage is honeycombed with woodland paths.  We can do many activities here such as walking the trails, climbing the mountains, or motoring through the Park on sea-side drives.  Excellent!!

After put out our things in the room,  we drove to the Thunder Hole, a beach with a beautiful view and very cold water:-).

The next morning we woke up early....soo beautiful.  We had very good complimentary continental b'fast of homemade
blueberry muffins and coffee/tea which is served every morning between 8:30 - 9:30 on the first-floor sunporch.  After showered, we were driving to Acadia National Park.  Today, we climb Mount Acadia.  Gosh....long time I wasn't do this activity, so seems like my body fall apart:-).  Because of foggy, so we can't be able to see the beautiful view along the coast and surround.  Lots of wild blueberry growth in this area, so Colin & I enjoy to picked them up:-).  After that, we sitted on the rocks, and had lunch on top of the mountain.  Eagles flyed away, wind blows...wonderful!!  After that, we walked down, and take a long walked to a gorgeous little pond called Bubble Pond, nestled between rounded mountains.  So gorgeous!!

We took dinner at seaside village at
Bar Harbor, it's close to our cottage.  Because Maine so popular with Lobster, so we ordered them:-).

The next day, we woke up in the morning, and again, had homemade b'fast.  After showered, we climbed
Mount Penobscot (1,194 feet). What a beautiful view from up there, the sky was so blue.....woowww......!!!  We had lunch on the top of the mountain.  Eagles and seagulls flyed away, wonderful!!   We walked down, and were driving to the Green Lake for kayaking.  The water was so warm and green.  We had a great time to spend while kayaking on the lake.  After that, we took a walk at Jordan Pond, a spectacular overlooking with Bubble Mountains in the distance.
The next day, we woke up in the morning, and as usual, had b'fast.  After showered, we checking out the hotel, and we climbed
Mount Cadillac (1,532 feet).  Very difficult for me to climbed this mountain, because so many cliff and big rocks.  On top of the mountain, we bought some ice cream (Ben & Jerry products) and looked for a big rock to sit while having our lunch.  After lunch, we drove home.

We had a very wonderful summer holiday.
